Join me for a Floral Design Workshop tomorrow evening, Thursday, February 16th from 6-8pm at the Art In Bloom studio space.
For just $35 you can enjoy the visual and aromatic beauty of roses, tulips, orchids and many more spring-y flowers. During this session I will provide some historical background on the making of today’s popular hand-tied bouquets. Termed, “nosegays, tussie-mussies and posies,” these dainty bouquets began as a means of expressing feelings and sending messages during the Victorian era with each bloom representing a different sentiment.
You will leave the workshop refreshed, relaxed and able to design your own bouquets using flowers from the market or your own garden. Each attendee will create two bouquets in the color scheme of their choice.
