The Brighton District Library held a lovely benefit event last night at Oak Pointe Country Club aptly titled, “Booked for the Evening.”
Here are a few photos of the set-up. Black, white and “read” all over was the theme for the decorations. I used red Freedom roses with a very high petal count and they opened beautifully in glass cubes with a swirl of bear grass. These understated arrangements were later placed atop a small stack of hard cover books in the center of the tables. The sponsor tables were a bit more dramatic with a mound of roses atop tall vases, bound with raffia and accented with curly willow to match the decor of the main dining room at Oak Pointe.
