A fresh coat of paint and a new exhibit

We took the opportunity of a long Labor Day weekend (and no weddings or events,) to freshen up the gallery walls at Art In Bloom. The chosen colors were Cactus Green and Honey Beige by Glidden…this 3-in-1 paint was just perfect for the job!  Not only does it go on smoothly but it filled all of the nail holes, as well.

Filling the holes…the beginning of an abstract wall mural?!
Alec wanted to try his hand at the roller.
Finished and just beginning to dry.

The newest exhibit in the gallery space by Lisa DeLuca looks fabulous in the newly painted space. Lisa works in a square format with acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas. Her vibrant and bold paintings can be displayed individually but also make a great statement as a grouping. (And yes, it was hard to make new nail holes but I have extra paint to re-fill them later!)

  1. Tracey,
The new colors are beautiful. Nice work Alec!
The latest exhibit reminds me of feel of Jon’s work. Looking good!
