There is something so satisfying in designing a bouquet for a bride and knowing that you have captured her style and essence. Each bouquet I create is as different as the person it is created for!
Emily & Perry were married May 13th at the Polo Fields in Ann Arbor. Emily wanted a soft palette to include creams, blush, gray and pale blue.
Lately, I have had many email inquiries from young couples who are beginning the process of wedding planning and want to know my pricing or whether I have “packages” available for flowers. The answer, in brief, is no. 🙂 The reason I keep my business small is so that I can put a bit of myself into each event and design. I really need to meet with a couple, spend some time discussing their plans and learn about their wedding vision and color scheme. It also helps me tremendously if they are able to provide a few visual images of florals that they love and would like to use as inspiration. I formulate a unique vision for that particular couple that includes elements that may have never been used in other weddings. Again, each wedding I design is as unique and special as the couple who are beginning their lives together.
Jenna & Aaron were married May 5th with a ceremony in Pinckney. Jenna wanted a rustic/woodsy twist to her bouquet with twine, Queen Anne’s lace and eucalyptus.
Danielle & Mark were married May 20th. Their reception was held at the historic Mayflower Meeting House in downtown Plymouth. The bridesmaids wore coral and I love the addition of bright lime green with the shades of coral and white.
Samantha & Phillip were married May 6th at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Brighton. The bridesmaid wore plum and Samantha asked to include mini calla lilies in her bouquet because they were an absolute favorite.
Laura & Jerrod were married April 15th. The weather was so beautiful that they were able to use the outdoor ceremony space at Crystal Gardens in Howell! Laura’s vision was for a romantic and soft bouquet that complemented her blush and gold color scheme.
Brittanie & Kevin were married March 3rd at the Inn at St. John’s in Plymouth. Deep rich tones, loads of texture and some unique flower varieties suited Brittanie’s personality perfectly.
Please feel free to email me with inquiries at email@example.com. I am no longer taking weddings for 2017 as my weekends are all full but would be happy to meet with couples looking ahead into 2018 and beyond!
Well, it’s official…our 2017 Wedding Season is booked! We are super excited to work with so many great couples but also sorry to let others know that our calendar is full and we are no longer booking weddings for this year. If you are in need of flowers for a wedding in 2018 or beyond, please send an email or give me a call to talk about reserving your date.
As we ramp up toward the season to come, I have been reminiscing over some of the photos from last year. Wedding work is so, so much work but also, very rewarding. It is always such a pleasure to meet with couples, talk through their ideas and help them create their own unique vision for the big day. Sending a big Thank You to all of the couples who have entrusted us with your floral accessories and decor!

Each bouquet we design is as unique as the bride who carries it!
I love finishing a bouquet with a special family item such as a handkerchief from Grandma.
It’s such a satisfying process to go from an initial consultation with a couple, getting a feel for their style, color scheme, etc. to ordering the freshest seasonal product and then bringing it all together with the creation of finished florals.
Jessica’s bouquet (5/21/16) of O’Hara garden roses, ranunculus, stock, dusty miller, astilbe and more.
Stacy’s bouquet in white, beige and hints of gold. I had fun finding this vase to complete the look at the reception.
Maureen selected succulents and Juliet garden roses for her bouquet in a rustic, barn setting.
Another great perk to designing wedding florals~ visiting so many unique and beautiful venues! Each location dictates a different tone for the ceremony and reception decor.
